ABOUT ME
I'm Anderson Jean,
Why am I running ?
Anderson Jean – A Voice for Baltimore, A Champion for Maryland
As a citizen of Baltimore, I have witnessed the resiliency of the people of Baltimore. I see ordinary people doing extraordinary things, despite rising costs, vacant homes, and a broken school system.
I believe in fighting for our schools where children feel safe, the implementation of a 21st century curriculum and teachers are supported. Supporting small businesses while keeping our streets safe and creating an environmentally friendly Baltimore.
That's why I'm running for the Maryland House of Delegates—to bring the voices of our communities to Annapolis and fight for the change we seek. West Baltimore deserves more than survival , we deserve renewal.
Our campaign is not about politics, its about power. The power of parents, educators and neighborhoods to reclaim their future. The power of compassion guided by courage. The power of West Baltimore to rise not through promises made in Annapolis, but through leadership that starts here. If you share our vision for a safer, stronger and more affordable Baltimore, then I ask for your vote.
Together, we will create a New Way Forward.

WHO AM I?
Anderson Jean is a cultured and well-read man who is committed to uplifting others and advocating for practical solutions while inspiring others to aspire to a life beyond their present circumstances. He spent his formative years in Connecticut and in Florida. Driven by his Haitian roots, he moved to Maryland in 2021 in search of an opportunity to serve a cause greater than himself. During the Haitian Revolution, Haitians sought refuge in Baltimore City, a city of immigrants. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a B.A in Political Science and obtained a master's degree from St. John’s University in Queens, New York. After graduation, he devoted his time to federal and state politics, fighting for social justice and teaching U.S & World History and lecturing about the Constitution and international relations. The example set by his father, whether in academia, politics, or community service, inspired Anderson to lead a life of service. West Baltimore’s rich history is a reminder that anything is possible, and he looks forward to providing ladders of opportunity for a New Way Forward.
